Mission Statement

The Medina Health Ministry, a volunteer organization founded in humanitarian values, exists to strengthen the quality of community life through the provision of health care services to eligible individuals.  This commitment is fulfilled by the following:  providing medical services to included diagnosis, treatment and referral cooperating with existing social services and health agencies and seeking additional opportunities to those people in need.


Statement of Practice

The care delivered by Medina Health Ministry shall primarily be that of history taking, physical examination, minor testing, diagnosis, treatment and referral.  This practice will exclude the following:

  • Abortion and pregnancy management
  • Drug and alcohol abuse rehabilitation
  • The administration of controlled substances
  • The definitive treatment of fractures
  • The ongoing treatment of potentially life threatening illness


Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be employed
  • No medical insurance, Medicaid or Medicare
  • Not be receiving government medical care or aid
  • Earnings less than 200% of the poverty level guidelines
  • Resident of Medina County


Statement of Purpose

The Medina Health Ministry provides minor health services to people who do not have medical insurance, who fall within the eligibility requirements.  Persons applying for MHM services must supply the required financial information and documentation to determine qualifications for service.


Statement of Conduct

Medina Health Ministry will not accept any abusive, threatening, vulgar or other inappropriate behavior either at the facility or at any volunteer medical care provider's business/residence.


Notice of Privacy Practices

Medina Health Ministry will not use your personal health information without your permission.  We will use your health information as necessary for your treatment and with other health care professionals involved in your care.
